Any person receiving a notice of a violation has the right to appeal it within a period of 14 days from the date of issuance. After the 14 - day period, the right to appeal expires and all violation charges and/or expenses incurred become automatically due. Appeals will be reviewed and a decision rendered within two weeks of receipt. Appeals should be made in writing to:

Any person whose appeal has been denied, or in any way unsatisfactorily resolved, may then appeal the decision to the Parking Advisory Committee within 14 days of receipt of the denial. The Parking Advisory Committee consists of members of the University faculty, staff, administration, and graduate and undergraduate student body. Its function is to hear and make final decisions on any parking appeal.

Appeals to the Parking Advisory Committee will not be entertained unless an appeal was previously made to the Office of Parking Services.

The decisions of the Parking Advisory Committee are final, and are binding upon both the appellant and the department.
