Special events on campus, such as home football games, basketball games or lectures have an impact on campus parking. Parking is made available to campus visitors.  Please see the appropriate link below for further information.

Special Event Policy

Special event parking restrictions will go into effect when the lots are staffed and will continue until two hours after the end of the event.

Student lots will follow normal operation with the following exception:
West Campus lots including the Irving Garage will be closed and restricted to special event parking for Carrier Dome events.

All staff and faculty lots will be closed and restricted to special event parking during Carrier Dome events (such as football games).

For Carrier Dome Demi - Dome events (such as basketball games) the West Campus lots, Hillside (formerly SOM), Irving Garage, Women's Building North lot, Women's Building South lot, Dome, PER and STDM - M lots will be closed and restricted to special - event parking.

For Manley/Coyne events, the PER and CMTR lots at Manley Field House will be closed and restricted to special event parking.

Those needing academic - related access in conflict with a Dome event must contact Parking Services in advance. To attend a football game, use the Skytop special event lot at the top of South Campus. To attend a basketball game, use the Manley Field House lots. If you have a disability, use the Skytop - D lot behind the Skytop office building for both football and basketball games. Your academic permit will allow for free football and basketball parking and bus service at these venues.
